At GVBC we are committed to the idea of “Making Disciples as We Go.” Towards that end, we desire to equip Christians to grow in their sanctification through a true knowledge of God’s nature and character that then informs the way they live out daily life. For a number of years we have put together a monthly newsletter designed to aid our congregation in this process through various articles.
In recent years, the advancement of technology has opened doors which allow us as a church to equip our congregation in more frequent and wide ranging ways. Unfortunately, the resources of money and personnel will not allow us to take advantage of each of these opportunities. Therefore, we have decided to focus our efforts using the popular social media Facebook. With Facebook, we are able to connect with and bring to our readers’ attention a variety of articles, encouragements and dialogue which we believe will aid in our sanctification. The end result will hopefully be a more mature believer ready to serve as God’s ambassador in all areas of our culture and world.
